Who can apply for this boot camp?
This bootcamp is designed for established as well as aspiring Indian content creators, communicators, writers, researchers, educators, and anyone passionate about climate storytelling. No prior climate science background required!
What is the duration and format of the boot camp?
It’s a 3-month digital bootcamp with weekly live sessions, hands-on projects, and peer collaboration opportunities.
You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a computer/ device. All course materials and recordings will be shared via familiar communication channels; no special software required.
Is there any certification provided?
Yes! Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a digital certificate in Climate Science & Storytelling, plus access to the exclusive network we curate with you.
Is there a fee to participate?
No, there is no tuition-fee. While the program is accessible to all learners at no cost, applicants are screened and selected based on the originality of their work, storytelling potential, and commitment to elevating climate conversations.
How much time will I need to commit to this boot camp?
Over the three-month program, you’ll engage in roughly 20 hours of expert-led live sessions plus self-paced modules and assignments, depending on how many learning tracks you opt for.
Will sessions be recorded?
This is a live learning model designed for real-time interaction and peer engagement. Recordings are not routinely distributed, but if you miss a session or need to revisit material, you can request the recording within 48 hours, and we’ll make it available.
How do peer-working groups function?
After each expert-led session, you’ll be placed into a small peer cohort (4–6 creators) to collaborate on exercises, give feedback, and co-create story prototypes, building accountability and community.
What’s the application process and deadline?
Complete the online form with your creator profile, sample work links, and a brief statement of intent. After initial review, selected candidates will be invited to a virtual conversation. Applications close on 4th October 2025 (Extended), and shortlisted applicants will be notified by email.
What happens after the bootcamp?
Once you complete the program, you’ll receive a Digital Certificate in Climate Science & Storytelling and become part of the bootcamp’s ongoing creator community of like minded climate champions. You’ll have continued access to reliable climate data, reports and story briefs along with research support by the Climate Trends’ team on any future projects the team collectively wishes to pursue.
Is the bootcamp for experienced creators only?
Not at all. This program welcomes creators at all levels, from those just starting out to seasoned storytellers. Whether you’re new to climate content or already have a following, you’ll gain the skills and support you need to elevate your work.
